Bells of Freedom provides an avenue for everyday people, like you, to connect with members of our United States armed forces to show appreciation through financial and emotional support of our serving young men, women, and families of the military. They hold a number of events every year in honor of the currently serving military men and women.
Bells of Freedom has found that the one of the Best times to show our appreciation to our serving Military men, women and families is through our annual “The Big Thank-You” Adopt a Family project, for both our servicemen and women but also for our sponsors looking for a meaningful way to spend their tax deductible donations.
What Types of Assistance Does Bells of Freedom Provide?
- First and foremost: Community Outreach – Military Family Adoptions, holiday baskets, back to school supplies, etc.
- Emergency Aid: Food, baby care items, vehicle donation, air mile donations, gift cards, etc.
- Transitional Emergency Housing: In process in various communities in the U.S.
Each December, Bells of Freedom works with base chaplains and commanding officers who then nominate service men, women and their families to participate in “The Big Thank-You”.
Staff, Families and Friends of North County Dance Arts and other community individuals, groups and organizations combined efforts to make this Holiday Season a Brighter one for more than 100 Camp Pendleton enlisted and their families by participating in Dance Hearts and the Bells of Freedom “The Big Thank You 2017” on Sunday, December 3rd.
In conjunction with Louis McKay of North County Dance Arts we at Rotisserie Affair Catering have been providing the food for this event for the past 10 years.
Next weekend we will be providing 700 meals to all the military families and volunteers present. In most instances the military family’s spouses are currently deployed and this was a way to look after them during the start of the festive season.
Having been in business in San Diego for more than 29 years it is our pleasure to work with the various charity organisations as our way of paying it forward.
